[at some point, probably by early afternoon, santa may decide to go find junpei for the meeting they've arranged... his dressing room door is cracked open and he is on the floor with his darkened tablet balanced on his outstretched legs, upper body leaned against the back wall, head drooped. cups and wrappers and chairs and discarded vests are scattered liberally in various states of crumpledness and there are some dents and stains on the walls in a way that could be a tantrum but could just be college boy. by the grace of god it doesn't smell too musty...yet.

[ This place looked way better the last time Santa was here. He's not sure how to take this. He pokes at one of the dents in the wall to see how bad it is, then shrugs and looks down at Junpei. Outstretching his foot, he kicks the guy lightly on the leg. It's hard enough to jar him but not enough to hurt him. Santa's just trying to wake him up. ]

Get the hell up, Sleeping Beauty. We've got business here and you've got cleaning up to do.

[startles up, fists up in self-defense before ultimately falling back into the corner with a clatter]

Wh--wha--!? The hell're you doing!

[ Santa jumps back quickly, ready to defend himself if necessary, with his pathetic knowledge of fighting. ]

Coming here to talk! What the hell have you been doing?!

Uh-- Uh.

[deflates; scrubs at his face, kinda out of it]

I think I fell asleep? What--what'd you want to talk about? --Today's not over yet, right?

It's not over, no. Would I be here if it was?

[ Santa starts picking up some of the discarded cups and wrappers. ]

This is a fucking mess...

[offers the chair! rights it for him, too]

I didn't say that. [ Santa pitches the stuff in the corner and sits. He doesn't actually feel like being a maid, anyway. ] But I assumed you'd be awake by then. Unless you plan on slumping over and dying like that asshole Gallagher.

[ A glare communicates this is not an allowed scenario. ]

[kicks some of the other stuff in the corner too and plops down on the makeup counter there's one of those in here, right?]

That's not the plan, no. I just...needed a break after that thing this morning. Hadn't expected to crash out, though. Nothing exploded yet?

Nothing exploded. I haven't exactly been up with what's happening outside my little bubble, though. [ Santa pulls at his clothes a little in what seems to be a nervous gesture, adjusting long sleeves lower and collar a little higher. ] I guess we both needed a break.

[ Too bad breaks are dangerous in a murder game. Good thing nothing went too badly... as far as we know? ]

I think we better start having our own meetings from now on. Keep track of shit and make sure we're not letting it get out of hand. Maybe we include June, maybe not, but nobody else.

I talked to her. She was getting stressed by not being allowed to help as much as she wanted to. But still... I don't know if she necessarily has the same priorities we do.
